Testimonials

We know you will love our holidays and courses but don't take our word for it .. Here's what your fellow Surf Sistas are saying  ..

Lucy from West Sussex on the White to Green Course, Cornwall 2012
"I had an awesome week, great girls, great instructors and I learnt HEAPS. Can't wait to keep getting back in the water to put everything I've learnt in to practice and now I feel like I can actually progress. This week has taught me how important it is that you don't let 'the fear' ruin your surf, and you've just got to have fun with it and paddle like your life depends on it! The words 'set on!' will stick with me! Loved it"

Natalya from Dublin on the White to Green Course, Cornwall 2012
"A quick email to thank you and the girls for the great week again! I had a brilliant time and feel so much better about my surfing now, I hope it lasts when I go surfing to Spain next week!"

Sadie on the White to Green Course, Cornwall 2012
"I just wanted to say what a great time I had. You and the other instructors are such an inspiration;  strong women! I feel like I have achieved something that is very important to me.  Please keep me in the loop if you have any other events."

Prue from London on the White to Green Course, Cornwall 2012
"As a female learning to surf in a male dominated sport it was wonderful to have Gwen right there beside you in the water, coaching you, encouraging you, laughing and singing. through the fear and adrenalin, what an inspirational woman to have around".

Erin on the White to Green Course, Cornwall 2012

Laura from Devon on the Bali Surf and Yoga Surfari 2012

"The Surf Sistas Bali trip was so much fun!  I was looking forward to it from the moment I booked and it didn't disappoint. We spent 10 days being transported to fantastic surf spots and having yoga sessions in what can only be described as paradise.

There were far too many highlights to mention .. surfing playgrounds with my friends while a rainbow sun set behind the mountains; climbing an active volcano (in the dark, in converse); world class scuba diving on Nusa Lembongan; moped rides accross the island; fun nights out with one too many bintangs all whilst making friends I know I'll have for life.

The Surf Sistas team couldn't have been more helpful with all aspects of the trip, from tips on how to perfect your drop, to where to get the best mani-pedi!

Sarah, Aidan and Amy catered for all abilities with both surfing and yoga and I really progressed in the 10 days, which ended with me sitting in the line up with the locals, catching and standing up on perfect peeling right handers. I never thought I would be able to say that!

Great company, awesome food, lovely accommodation and all in beautiful Bali. So, so glad I went and felt so happy, revitalised and inspired to surf afterwards.

See you all next year!"

Lisa from Australia on the Bali Surf and Yoga Surfari 2012
"As a  Mum of 3, who is always busy organizing everyone else, it was so
fantastic to have Surf Sistas organize the whole trip from beginning to end for me,
all I had to do were my flights!!  We surfed awesome waves for 10 days
straight with fantastic fully qualified surf instructors giving us a load of
help, did yoga in the most amazing places with another fully qualified
instructor who also came out in the water with us, great food, great
company, great places to  stay - what more can a girl ask for.

Surf Sistas did an amazing job organizing 11 women, which is no easy feat, but we all had such a fun time and we all got some great waves depending on our skill level.  I
know my surfing definitely improved from the first day to the end, and I can
thank Aidan & Sarah for that. Was an awesome holiday and I LOVED it!!!!"

Aoife from Ireland on the Surf Sistas Weekend in Cornwall, Sept 2011

"What.An.Amazzzzzing.Weekend!!  It was just fabulous fabulous fabulous.  Hayley is such a lovely soul and wonderful yoga teacher, she was brilliant organising us all. The instructors were really great, really encouraging, great ole craig.  I was really delighted with them and all their help. I have a pain in my face from smiling and laughing so much, often for no other extraordinary reason other than being in the sea. A common sight over the weekend was me laughing uncontrollably by myself and to myself in the sea...absolutely bursting with happiness.

All the surf sistas myself and the Cork girls included were seriously happy campers. My soul feels nurtured and revitalised, I am so grateful. I look forward so much to more and more and more time in the sea! I hope to and look forward to seing you guys soon, thanks a million again for everything."

Madeleine from California on the Surf Sistas Surf & Yoga Retreat, Costa Rica, Feb 2013

"I joined Surf Sistas in Costa Rica and had an amazing time! It was the perfect mixture of activity and relaxation all while set in beautiful Costa Rica. The surf instruction I received from Sam was the best I have ever had (have had lessons before this trip) and yoga with Nicole was wonderful as well, her vast knowledge of the human body and how to care for the aches that come from surfing was perfect!
The town of Santa Teresa is a small little town filled with other friendly surfers who have traveled there for its perfect waves. The endless amount of food options was great after a long day of surfing. The sunsets in Santa Teresa are the best I have seen yet!
I had sooo much fun during my week in Costa Rica. I met a great group of girls, stayed in a very nice and relaxing lodge, ate delicious food, zip lined through the rain forest, learned to surf, and more. Since Surf Sistas I have bought a board and have been surfing as much as I can, they got me hooked, and I plan on joining them on many other surf trips in the future! :-)"

Michaela from Switzerland on the Surf Sistas Road Trip, Costa Rica, March 2013"Costa Rica was the best trip I ever had. I met amazing girls, we had absolute great surf Instructors Nicole and Sam...wonderful places to stay, a lot of surf and of course a lot of fun :-)  I am still dreaming of this wonderful time :-) thank you Surf Sistas"

Laura, Brighton on the Surf Sistas Road Trip, Costa Rica, March 2013
"This holiday offered everything needed for a great experience, whether you go on your own or with friends! The instructors were very warm, welcoming, helpful, enthusiastic and happy. Everything was thought of and catered for, including the amazing accommodation and being taken to breakfast bars, cafes and restaurants to taste the delicious local delicacies and eat lots! The surf was awesome and it was possible to do as much or as little surfing as you wanted, including sunrise and sunset surfs with good quality rental boards! The instructors were always on hand to help you out and encourage too, no matter what your surfing ability is. They're also great at teaching you how to read the surfing conditions including reading surf reports, learning how the wind affects the surf and how to read the waves when you're sat on the beach looking out! Being a road trip meant that we got to see lots of this beautiful country, including many of the beautiful beaches, local towns, mangos and lots of the local wildlife and experience driving through rivers and across the beach! Many other excursions were available on the trip, including turtle watching, snorkelling, boat trips to local beautiful islands, tree top zip lining, hoola hooping and massages! You could make this holiday as relaxed or jam packed as you like, as you have the opportunity to chill by the pool in each place you stay or relax on the beach too! The girls went above and beyond to make this trip brilliant! If you like adventure, this trip is definitely for you!"

Jenny, Canada on the Surf Sistas Road Trip, Costa Rica, March 2013
"I booked this road trip on a whim, having never surfed before. It turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done. The road trip was the best way to really see the beautiful coast while learning to surf at the same time. I met an amazing group of girls, went home with unforgettable memories and a new addiction to all things surfing."
